Gypsum-chip boards (GCB) are an innovative, environmentally safe building material for the interior design "for the finish" of the floor, walls, partitions and ceilings constructions. The composition is 83% gypsum, chips 15%, 2% moisture. The high-tech and fireproof (G1, T1, B1, RP1, D1) material is of much better quality and physical and mechanical properties than a commonly known Plasterboard (PB), Gypsum fiber board (GFB) and other similar board (sheet) materials used for interior finishing of the premises.
Gypsum-chip board is widely used in such premises as the social facilities, medical organizations, schools, kindergartens, health centers, etc., as well as in the residential, public, industrial, administrative buildings. This material is applied there as:
- the cladding of the inner surfaces of the walls, ceilings and partitions;
- sheet-backing board of the floor base for different finishes;
- fire-proof cladding of the wooden and steel structures.
Besides, gypsum-chip board provides a number of good solutions in low-rise housing construction:
- strip foundation (retained formwork)
- subfloor (in two coats on the joists with seams shift)
- full finishing of the internal heat circuit of the walls, ceilings, partitions constructions.
For the premises with high humidity (water closets, bathrooms, boilers, etc.) or in case of the temperature drops we recommend to use GCB waterproof (GCBW).
