Lattialeijona is a softwood substrate of the high strength (the density 270 kg/m3) for the heat and sound insulation, as well as for compensating of the uneven floors before the finishing coating. The substrate is used under linoleum, laminate, carpeting, flooring, etc.
It consists of 100% wood fibers, has not either coloring agents or an adhesive binder. It is available in the boards of the size (LxWxH): 850 x 590 x 4.5 mm, there are 12 boards in a package. The package area is 6 m2.
The laying Lattialeijona substrate
During the laying, it is necessary to leave a gap of 5 - 10 mm between the boards of the substrate and the wall. The boards are laid at an angle of 45° to the walls to avoid the coincidence of the floor gaps and the substrate. When laying one should leave a gap of 1 - 2 mm between the boards. The boards are fixed with glue (SOUDAL 48A), or nailed with stapler staples, nails to the base of the floor. The laying of finishing coat is made directly on the substrate surface.
