Isoplaat floor substrate is used as a leveling layer with the heat and sound insulation properties under laminate and parquet. The boards of thickness 4, 5, 6 and 7 mm consist of 100% recycled softwood making Isoplaat substrate an ecologically safe material, without a negative affecting on the environment at home.
The substrate has a mechanical strength which allows to withstand the pressure of furniture without any deformations (20 t/m2). At the same time, due to the porous structure, Isoplaat boards are soft enough to smooth out the floor unevenness up to 4 and 5 mm.
Isoplaat substrate has a good sound insulation level (21 dB) and low thermal conductivity (0.045 W/m*K), thus giving additional heat and sound insulating properties to the construction.
The most common use of the boards is the laying under "floating" laminate or parquet floors. Isoplaat substrate serves for the sound, heat insulation, as well as for levelling the sub-floor.
